Obituary for Mary Catherine Bosch Mrs. Mary Catherine Fogle Bosch, 92, of Indianapolis, formerly of Seymour, passed away on Sunday, July 29, 2018 at Forum at the Crossing in Indianapolis. Mrs. Bosch was born of February 12, 1926, in Daviess County, KY, the daughter of Ura and Mary Grace (Simon) Fogle. A Prayer Service will be held at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Friday, August 3 at 10:30 am with Father Dan Staublin assisted by Deacon Mike East officiating.

Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Thursday from 5-8 pm and on Friday from 9:30 am until time of prayer service. Mrs. Bosch graduated from Daviess County High School in Kentucky and from Spaulding University in Louisville, KY, in 1947.

The school was formally known as Nazareth College of Nursing located in Louisville, KY. From 1944 to 1947, she served in the Cadet Nurse Cooperative Program. Mrs. Bosch was stationed at SS Mary and Elizabeth Hospital in Louisville, KY.

She served as a registered nurse in Nursing Services at the US Veteran Hospital in Louisville, KY, for 5 years. Mrs. Bosch came to Seymour in 1953, with her husband, Dr. Ralph O. Bosch, to establish his medical practice and worked in the medical office for 2 years. She was a member of the Kentucky State Nurses Association, Indiana State Nurses Association, American Red Cross Nurses Association, and Schneck Medical Hospital Guild.

Mrs. Bosch was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Columbus. She was a charter member of the former All Saints Episcopal Church in Seymour. She was a member of Psi Iota Zi, Sorority, Alpha Beta Chapter.

She did extensive volunteer work with Meals on Wheels, Boy Scouts of America in Seymour, All Saints Church Altar Guild, Blood Procurement with Red Cross Mobile, Treasurer of Psi Iota Xi Sorority Shop for 22 years, and Heritage House Nursing Home Birthday parties. Mrs. Bosch was a loving mother and homemaker. On June 23, 1951, she married Dr. Ralph O. Bosch in Louisville, KY.

He preceded her in death January 8, 2009. She is survived by her sons, Mark (Ruth) Bosch, Wayne (Beth) Bosch, Glenn (Bobbi) Bosch; grandchildren, Garrett, Victoria and Hayden Bosch; brothers, Thomas Fogle and William (Joan) Fogle; sisters, Edna (Jerry) Jones, Ruth McCarty, Peggy Porter and Sharon Fogle; and brother-in-law, Joseph Coomes. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dr. Ralph Bosch; sisters, Rose Senn, Betty Delacey, Rita Wathen, and Jean Coomes; brothers-in-law, Lee Roy Senn, Jerome McCarty, Woodrow Porter and John Delacey; and sister-in-law, Mary Fogle.
