Mary Christina VanAllen, 69, of Southaven, MS passed away on Saturday, January 26, 2019. Ms. VanAllen was retired from the IRS, where she worked in the Customer Service Department. She was a member of the Red Hat Society.

Mary was preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa VanAllen; her parents, Charles and Vivian Griswold; and brother, Charlie Griswold. She leaves three sons: David VanAllen of TX, Jerry VanAllen of FL and Bobby VanAllen of Bartlett, TN; five siblings: Jeanette Griswold of AZ, Philip Griswold, Marjorie Johnson, Bill Griswold and Helen Griswold all of Memphis; six grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 30, 2019, with service on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. All services will be held at Forest Hill East Funeral Home, and entombment will be in Forest Hill East Mausoleum.
