Mary Creasey, 99, of Kewanee, died Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at Kewanee Care Home. Mary was born December 18, 1919 in Kewanee, the daughter of Mina and Stephanie (Burkowski) Shinkevich. She attended Kewanee schools and graduated with the class of 1937.

She married William (Bill) Creasey in Kewanee on September 2, 1944, he preceded her in death on February 14, 1998. They farmed in the Osceola and Elmira areas. Mary was a homemaker, lifeguard in earlier years, 4-H leader, and election judge.
