KIEFER MARY D. (McGRATH) “LOURDSIE” Age 87, peacefully on Friday, January 11, 2019. Beloved wife of Rege; loving mother of Patricia (Ralph) Polite and the late John Kiefer, and a stillborn son; grandmother of Megan (Eric) Osborne, Mollie Polite, and Michael (Jennifer) Polite; great-grandmother of Alexander and Evelyn Osborne and Dominic Polite; sister of Margaret Schohn, Joan Smith, Francis, Thomas, James, and the late Paul, Michael and stillborn McGrath; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mary was a former longtime Kaufman’s employee, and with her father and brothers, a former employee of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.

Mary will be sadly missed by the Kiefer family and all who knew her. Visitation SUNDAY ONLY, 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the SCHEPNER – McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC. , 165 Noble Ave.

, Crafton. Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Monday in St. Philip Catholic Church, where Mary was a member and a former active volunteer. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN, 38105.
