Mrs. Mary Diane Barrett Baker, 72, of Lancaster passed away Friday, January 25, 2019 at her home. She was born April 10, 1946 in Lancaster, a daughter of the late Page Cauthen Barrett and Helen Phillips Barrett. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

She loved to quilt, going to the beach, camping, working with her flowers, reading cooking and spending time with her family and spending time with the senior citizens group at church. A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Baker will be held Monday, January 28, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Lancaster Funeral Home with the Rev. Marty Roberts and Rev.

Cliff Henson officiating. Burial will be in the Lancaster Memorial Park. Mrs. Baker is survived by her husband Jimmy Baker; three sons, Jeff Estridge and his wife Jan of Leesville, Todd Estridge of Pageland and Jimmy “Jimbo” Baker Jr. and his wife Paige of Lancaster; three daughters, Kimberly Estridge of Marietta, Cyndi Williams and Kelli Kirkley both of Lancaster; three brothers, Mike Barrett and his wife Joan, Terry Barrett and George Barrett all of Lancaster; three sisters, Darlene Craig and her husband Luke and Deb White all of Lancaster; a brother in law, Johnny Jenkins of Lancaster; eleven grandchildren; and sixteen great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, William “Bill” Barrett and Gary Neal Barrett; and a sister, Daphene Jenkins. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Sunday, January 27, 2019 at Lancaster Funeral Home and other times at the home. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
