Mrs. Martha Walker Black of Lancaster passed away Sunday, February 24, 2019 at Presbyterian Hospital, Charlotte N.C. She was born May 14, 1949 in Winnsboro, S.C. a daughter of the late Richard Johnson and Janey Mae Walker. Mrs. Black loved to spend time with her grandchildren.

She also enjoyed working in her flowers. Mrs. Black is survived by three sons, William Black Jr of Cleveland, Ohio, Greg Black (Donna) also of Cleveland, and James Black (JB) of Lancaster, S.C., two daughters Linda Cunningham of Chester, S.C., Gloria Witherspoon of Lancaster, S.C., six grandchildren, Crystal Kiser, Timothy Cunningham, Jolanda Witherspoon, Princess Cunningham, Michael Witherspoon the third, Bryant Witherspoon, and a host of great grandchildren. Mrs. Black was preceded in death by her husband William Black and one son James Black.

The family will receive friends Friday March 1, at Lancaster Funeral home from 1:00 P.M. until 2:00 P.M. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 P.M. in the Lancaster Funeral Home Chapel.
