Mary’s Obituary Mary E. Horowski, 70, of Lehighton, passed away on Monday, Feb. 18, 2019 at Mahoning Valley Nursing & Rehabiliation Center in Lehighton. She was the wife of Adam S. Horowski Jr of Lehighton.

They had been married for 45 years this past October. Born in Coaldale, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Mildred (Christman) Beltz. She was a graduate of Panther Valley High School, Class of 1966 and then went on to graduate from St. Luke’s School of Nursing in 1969.

Mary worked at Gnaden Huetten Memorial Hospital in Lehighton as a Registered Nurse for over 40 years. She was a member of the Hope of Christ Presbyterian Church in Summit Hill, where she formerly served as Deacon. Surviving along with her husband; is a Daughter, Megan Howard and her husband Jeff of Quakertown; two Sons, Brian Horowski and his wife Michele of Philadelphia and Kevin Horowski of Norristown; a Brother, Frederick Beltz and his wife Peggy of Stroudsburg; a Sister, Bertha Jane Varga and her husband Ted of Stockertown; three Grandchildren, Leah Howard, Allison Horowski and Andrew Howard; Several Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Service is on Friday, Feb. 22, 2019 at 11 a.m. from Hope of Christ Presbyterian Church, 44 W. White St., Summit Hill with the Rev. Ruth Ann Christopher officiating.

Interment will follow at GAR Cemetery, Summit Hill. Calling Hours are Friday from 10-11 a.m. in the Church. Contributions, in Mary’s Memory, may be made to the Church.
