Mary Fields Boyd, 65 of Severn, Maryland passed away on November 3, 2018. She was born in 1953 to Walter and Catherine Elinor Fields in Washington, DC. Mary was a Certified Medical Surgical Registered Nurse.

She worked initially at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, and most recently at Baltimore-Washington Medical Center while teaching Nursing as an Associate Professor at Anne Arundel Community College. She enjoyed gardening, boating on the Chesapeake Bay, and spending time with her grandson, Ansel. She is survived by her beloved husband, Kevin, her three sons: Richard, Jr.; Walter, and Marshall, her daughter-in-law Yelena, and her grandson, Ansel.

She is also survived by her siblings: Ann Reynolds; George Fields; and Robert Fields. A memorial visitation will be held at the Donaldson Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A.1411 Annapolis Road Odenton, Maryland 21113 on Wednesday, November 7 from 5 until 9 PM at. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church at 1283 Odenton Road, Odenton, Maryland 21113 on Thursday, November 8 at10:00 AM followed by a reception in St. Joseph’s Corrigan Hall.

Inurnment will follow at 2:00 PM at the U.S. Naval Academy Columbarium in Annapolis, Maryland. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at: www. stjude.org/about-st-jude/visit/locations.
