Mary Elizabeth (Polito) Phillips, 89, Olyphant, passed away peacefully, Friday evening, October 05, 2018, at Lackawanna Health and Rehabilitation, Olyphant. She was the widow of James Joseph Phillips, a Corporal, serving the United States Army during the Korean war, that passed Tuesday afternoon, December 09, 2008. Born Thursday, October 18, 1928, in Archbald, she was the daughter of Frank and Vincenta Vogara Polito.

Mary was a graduate of Archbald High School, and a seamstress, until retirement, in the garment industry. She is survived by her sons James and William Phillips, and her daughter Mary Jane Murray. At the request of Mary, there will be no viewing or visitation.
