Obituary for Mary Ellen Watzka (Grusznski) Mary Ellen Watzka, age 78 of Denmark, passed away on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 in Green Bay, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 26, 1940 to the late Stanley and Edna (Terrien) Grusznski. On September 21, 1963 she married Jerome Watzka in Green Bay.

She was a faithful wife and nurturing mother who was devoted to staying home to provide a clean, happy home with home cooked meals and an abundance of love and support. Mary loved to play King’s Corners, do word search puzzles, and loved to listen to Polka music. She was a devoted Catholic and most recently a member of All Saints Catholic Church, Denmark.

She was kind hearted, with a lot of love to go around, and always put the needs of others above her own. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Jerome, children; Marty (Rita) Watzka, Rick (Stacy) Watzka, Bill (Amy) Watzka, Deanna (Chris) Tilot, Dolly (Jon) Robb, Amy (Dan) Bornemann, Henry (Jill) Watzka, Jesse (Jennie) Watzka, Jason Watzka and Naomi (Mike) Bachmeyer, 32 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She is further survived by brothers and sisters; Agnes Benz, Al Grusznski, Evelyn (Frances Cavanaugh) Stetson, Kathy Dworak and Pat (Marie) Grusznski, brothers and sisters in law; Elsie Grusznski, Leo Heim, Mary Jane Grusznski, Bernard (Bernardine) Watzka, Merle (Dolores) Watzka, Jerry (Marilyn) Watzka, Rosemary Stencil, Dorothy Watzka, Cyril Cieslewicz, Tony (Karen) Watzka and Mike (MaryLou) Watzka, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Preceding her in death are her grandson, Luke Watzka, infant brother, Joseph Grusznski, brothers and sisters; Bob (Marcella) Grusznski, Ray Grusznski, Arlene Heim and Clarence “Barney” Grusznski, brothers and sisters in law; Rita Grusznski, Bernard Dworak, Laverne (Joe) Phillip, Roger Watzka and Joan Cieslewicz. She is further preceded in death by her mother and father in law, Joe and Emma Watzka, as well as other family members. Family and friends may call on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Cotter Funeral Home, 536 County Rd.

R, Demark, where there will be a Parish Prayer Service at 7:30pm. Visitation will continue on Thursday at All Saints Catholic Church, 125 St. Claude St, Denmark at 10am until 10:45 with a mass at 11:00am at the church. Online condolences can be made at www.
