Obituary for Mary F. Skrenes Mary F. Skrenes, 90, of Fond du Lac, died on Monday, December 24, 2018, at her residence. She was born on November 29, 1928, in Windsor, Wisconsin, the daughter of Merle and Mabel Mathison Dorman. She was a graduate of DeForest High School.

On October 14, 1949, she married Kenneth W. Skrenes. He preceded her in death on January 27, 1993. Mary worked for Lumberman’s Supply, Oscar Meyer Co. in Madison, Haentze Floral and Advocap in Fond du Lac.

She enjoyed gardening, word search, puzzles and reading. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her children: Pam (John) Marion of Fond du Lac, Danny (JoAnn) Skrenes of Fond du Lac, Patricia (Dave Pernu) Skrenes-Benzel of Pardeeville, WI, David (Melody) Skrenes of Mercer, WI; 19 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren; her sister, Betty Williams of Madison and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband’s, seven brothers and sisters. VISITATION: The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 12:00 pm on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Kurki-Mach Funeral Chapel, 31 East Division Street, Fond du Lac. Private family inurnment will take place this spring at Bristol Lutheran Church Cemetery in Sun Prairie, WI.
