Mary’s Obituary Mary Frances Ann (Schleider) Testani, 69, of Bastrop Texas went to her heavenly home on March 16, 2019. Mary Frances was born on October 19, 1949 in Johnson City, New York to Edward and Angeline (Testani) Schleider. She married Gerald “Jerry” DuBrava Sr. on November 14, 2009 in Texas.

Mary Frances was a longtime parishioner at St. Mary’s of the Assumption Church in Binghamton, New York and at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Rockne where she was a member of the St. Ann’s Society. She was a board member of the Senior Center in Bastrop; past president of the Sons of Italy; Daughters of Columbus; Pistols and Pearls Society and Bastrop Citizens Police Academy. Mary Frances enjoyed fishing, cooking, dancing, gardening, volunteering, spending time with family and was an avid Buffalo Bills fan.

When Jerry was diagnosed with diabetes Mary Frances wrote and published a diabetes cookbook. She is survived by her loving husband, Jerry; three daughters: Lisa Marie Morrison (Greg), Angeline Rose “Angel” Hull (Peter) and Elizabeth Ann Rifenbury; two stepsons: Gerald C. DuBrava (Sarah) and David DuBrava(Danielle); stepdaughter, Diane Brigante (Nicholas); grandchildren: Chelsea Ann, Ethan, Olivia Rose, Zachary, Arianna Skye; one great grandchild, Aria Rose; four step grandchildren; brother Edward Schleider (Sandy); sister Angela Testani; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephew, cousins, god children and god mother. She is preceded in death by her parents Edward and Angeline (Testani) Schleider and grandson Michael.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at the Bastrop Providence Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with family present from 6:00-8:00 p.m.. Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 4045 FM 535, Rockne, Texas at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow mass at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
