Obituary for Mary Geraldine Snively (Munson) Mary Geraldine Snively, 92 of Mt. Airy formerly of Catonsville and Ellicott City. Died Saturday, February 2, 2019 at home.
She was the beloved wife of the late William F. Snively. Mrs. Snively was the daughter of the late Luther Bower Munson and the late Mary Elizabeth Dixon Munson. She had worked for Montgomery Ward as a credit manager and various other jobs including BGE, Shell Oil Company, substitute taught at Catonsville Jr. High and worked part time at Consumer Credit Counseling for 1991-1995.
Mrs. Snively lived in various locations while growing up including Ohio, Georgia, and South Carolina before returning to Catonsville, where she met her husband and raised her family in Catonsville and Howard County and moved to Mt. Airy MD in 1994. She was the Chairperson for Eastern Shore Society.
Enjoyed gardening, reading and antiques Devoted mother of Jay and wife Dana Snively, Brad and wife Christina Snively. Loving Grandmother of Weston, Chase, Haven, Elizabeth and Anthony Snively. Preceded in death by sister Marjorie Moss Inurnment will be private at a later date with her husband in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery, Owings Mills, MD.
