Obituary for Mary Green Waldrop Print Gaffney — Mary Sylvania Green Waldrop, 88, of 940 N. Limestone St Apt O68, passed away Monday, February 11th, 2019, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. A native of Cocke County, TN, she was the widow of Ellis Judson Waldrop and the daughter of the late James Robert and Bertha Mae Banks Green. She dedicated her life to her children and taking care of their home.

Surviving Mrs. Waldrop are four sons, Steve Waldrop, Ben Waldrop, Leatus Green, and Gary Waldrop; two daughters, Freida Fergusson and Alice Jones; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Waldrop was preceded in death by two sons, Artie and Arthur Waldrop. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 16th, 2019, from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Gordon Mortuary of Gaffney.

Funeral services will follow at noon in the Gordon Mortuary of Gaffney Chapel. Interment will be at Frederick Memorial Gardens. The family will be at the residence.
