Griffith – Mary Janet, 76, of Richland Township, passed away on May 11, 2019 at her daughter’s residence in Canton, GA. Born on December 6, 1942 in Johnstown, daughter of Calvin Arnold and Angeline Mary (Brown) Foust. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Homer R.; brother, Melvin Foust.

Survived by her loving children, Robert Griffith, Cathy (James) Colby, Fred (Melissa) Kramer and Mary Kramer; 13 grandchildren, including Jonathan Kramer who was raised as a son by Mary and Homer; Mom cared very much for her grandchildren. She would want them to know how much they were loved by her. Her grandchildren are: Katie, Amy, Tressa, Tara, DeAnna, Kayla, Ryan, Justin, Alex, Amber, Aubree and Briana.

Her great-grandchildren are: Weston, Gavin, Lily, Bella, Taylor, Esme and Cara; sister, Lucy Vatavuk and husband, Tom. Mary was a member of the Moxham Lutheran Church. She enjoyed cooking for family but especially preparing meals for her sons.

She loved Pogo, BINGO, phone games and chicken wings, but especially loved spending time with her family. Mary was very much loved and will be greatly missed. Special thanks to her daughter, Cathy, and son-in-law, James for the special care they gave to our mom in her final years.

They enabled us to have our mom for a lot longer. Viewing will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, with the Rev. Faron H. Johnson, officiating.
