Mary Jayne was born March 7, 1956 to Mariano and Romelia Salaz. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ramon and by her nephew, Romeo.

Mary Jayne is survived by her children, Joshua Salaz, Jelissa Salaz and companion, Henry; grandchildren, Damian and Esteban; brothers, Merejildo Salaz (Theresa), Presciliano Salaz (Bertha), Jake Salaz (Sophie) and Mariano Salaz (Sharon); sisters, Bonnie Salaz, Lucy Gallegos (Abel) and Jean Salaz-Romero (Larry); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends who loved and will miss her. Services will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Cuba, NM. A public visitation will begin on Monday, April 15, 2019 at 5:00 pm, with the Rosary being recited at 6:30 pm.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at Cuba Cemetery. Serving the family as pallbearers will be John Salaz, Filemon Salaz, Eric Salaz, Phillip Salaz, Junior Salaz, Mike Salaz, Larissa Romero, Genaro Garcia and Henry Saavedra.

Honorary pallbearers will be Damian, Esteban and her nieces and nephews.
