Mary Jean’s Obituary Services for Mary Jean Beckham, 87, of Hughes Springs, will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Bradfield Chapel United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Bradfield Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Hughes Springs. There will be a time of visitation starting one hour prior to the service at the church.

Mary Jean Beckham was born on September 17, 1931 in Hughes Springs to Reno and Zoie Lee Newby. She peacefully joined her parents and son, Tommy Lynn Armstrong on March 18, 2019. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, John E. Beckham; son, Jimmy Armstrong (Donna) of Longview; daughter, Nancy Long (Kenneth) of Conroe; her grandchildren, Chris Long, Joseph Long (Melissa), Patrick Long (Amy), Melissa Armstrong, Carol Roe (Lewis), Jennifer Powers (Justin), and Nathan Kisner.

Jean was blessed with twenty great-grandchildren; and many wonderful friends. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Heartsway Hospice, Hartis Longview, and the visiting Angels.
