Mary Kathryn (Edwards) Day, 72, of London, died Tuesday, February 19, 2019 at the Mount Carmel Medical Center, Columbus. Mary was born April 13, 1946 in Columbus, a daughter of Leland and Mary K. (Parrett) Edwards. She was retired from Capitol Manufacturing in West Jefferson after 33 years.

She was very proud of the fact that she was a breast cancer survivor and had been a hospice volunteer with Loving Care Hospice, London. She loved to spend time with her family. Mary is survived by her children: Glen Reed of Galax, Virginia: Jolynne Reed of South Charleston; sister: Dorothy Setty of London; brother: Alan Edwards of Grove City; grandchildren: Jessica Gray, Joshua Caldwell, Kaleigh Hodges, Amanda Reed, Alyssa Reed, Steven Reed, and Lukas Reed; seven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her: parents; sons: James Lee Reed and Michael Duane Reed; brother: William Lee Edwards; sister: Ethel Charlene Migneron; half-brothers: Robert Edwards; Junior Edwards; half-sister: Phyllis Ann McClaskie; great granddaughter: Elizabeth Grace Caldwell. A memorial gathering of family and friends will be held Tuesday, February 26, 2019, from 4-7 PM. , the Rader-Lynch & Dodds Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 124 E. High St., London.
