Funeral services for Mary L. (Moore) Davis will be held 2:00PM, Friday, December 14, 2018 at the Hale’s Memorial Chapel in Davis with Rev. Jeff Flowers officiating. Interment will follow at the Reck Cemetery in Wilson.

Mary was born April 22, 1937 in Ringling, OK to the late Lake S. & Nora C. (McMillian) Moore. She passed from this life on Sunday, December 9, 2018, in Ada, OK, at the age of 82 years. Mary grew up in the Ringling area, graduating from Velma High School.

… Read More » She spent several years working as a customer service representative for FerrellGas. Mary was an avid Texas Rangers fan. She was a charter member of the Texas Rangers Womens Club, serving as a past secretary.

Her love for the Rangers made it possible for her to meet President George W. Bush and set with him throughout a baseball game. According to Mary, this was her claim to fame. She was also fortunate enough to personally meet and visit with Nolan Ryan.

In her spare time, she enjoyed working puzzles and reading. Mary was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church of Davis. Survivors include one daughter, Wanema Davis of Davis; grandson, Blake Davis & wife Sarah of Fort Worth; granddaughter, Shannon Rovinsky & husband Alex of Fort Worth; great-granddaughter, Ellisyn Rovinsky; two very special nieces, Cynthia Jenkins and Patricia Austin; as well as several beloved nephews.

In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death one son, Tony Davis in October 2018; as well as her four siblings, Patsy, Betty, Benny and Sonny.
