OBITUARY Mary L Smith February 12, 1939 – January 29, 2019 Mary Louise Kennedy Smith, age 79 , of Birmingham, Alabama passed away on January 29, 2019. She was born in Calera, Alabama on February 12, 1939 to Marion Edward Kennedy and Lois Mildred Kennedy, née Mayfield. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband of more than 50 years, Charles Wayne Smith.

She is survived by daughters Cherri Smith Reisner (Teddy), Dawn Smith Skewes (Jeff), granddaughter Casey Skewes O’Dell (David), grandson Cody Skewes, and great-grandson Charlie O’Dell. Service will be graveside at Elmwood Cemetery at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 1, 2019. All are welcome to join the family, following the service, for food and fellowship at Covenant Presbyterian Church in remembrance of Mary Louise.
