Mary L. Wauer, 80, of Mason, OH and formerly of Eaton and Milford, OH, passed away at home on Thursday morning, March 21, 2019 with her family by her side. Born April 14, 1938 in Elliottville, KY, she was 1 of 10 children born to the now late Andrew Jackson Brown and Effie Mae (Prince) Brown. A devoted wife to husband Ben H. Wauer whom she marred April 16, 1955, and who passed on March 9, 1993; dedicated mother of Vanessa Cinnamon, Janice Wauer and Anna Wauer all of Mason and Danny R. Wauer who passed on June 2, 2016; grandmother to Valarie (Chris) Green of Kodak, TN, Sonya (Beau) Bremer of Dandridge, TN, and James (Michelle) Cinnamon of Kodak; great grandmother to Shae, Shania, Arista, Nadiya, Dwight, Anthony, Ivy, Brittany and Ashley; and great great grandmother of 4.

Mary is also survived by sister Shelia Barrett of Utah. She is also preceded in death by 2 brothers and 6 sisters. Friends may call on the family from 12:00 – 1:30 PM Monday, March 25, 2019 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens – 3377 US Rt.

35 – West Alexandria. Funeral services will follow at 1:30 PM with Chaplain Timothy Rech presiding. .
