Mary Lou Reed, age 72, of Stacy, Minnesota, passed away November 22, 2018 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born August 27th, 1946 to Leonard and Harriet Szymanski. Mary Lou worked and owned her own H & R Block Office in Lindstrom, MN.

She then sold her business and did some accounting for the City of Stacy and started working for Merchant’s State Bank for 15 years. Mary Lou finished her professional career with Chisago County in Human Res where she worked for 13 years. She and Gary enjoyed retirement traveling around the United States and wintering in Texas and Arizona where they met many lifelong friends.

Mary Lou is preceded in death by father, Leonard (Smiles) Szymanski; mother, Harriet (Peterson) Szymanski; brother, Michael Szymanski. Survived by devoted husband of 53 years, Gary; daughters, Lynne (Aaron) Seim; Lori (Jonn) Olson and Paula Ringaman; sister, Sharon (Dennis) Dobson; grandchildren, Jessica and Jason (Tori) Westlund, Samuel Seim, Jeffrey (Jenny) and Brooke Olson, Evelyn Ringaman; great-granddaughter, Autumn Schulte. In keeping with Mary Lou’s wishes, there will be no services.

Private interment at Stacy Cemetery.
