Wilmer “Wil” Brown, age 77 of Wyoming, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on December 26, 2018. He was an enrolled member of the White Earth Band of Ojibwa, he proudly served in the U.S. Army, and became a longtime sprinkler fitter for Local 417. He is survived by his wife, Elaine and their children, Brenda Brown, Rubin and Michelle (James Jr.) Swanson; two grandchildren, Nicholas Brown and James Swanson III; siblings, Elsie Brown and Joan (Jim) Cowan; nieces, nephews, extended family (Barb and Steve) and Chloe, the singing dog.

A service honoring his life will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 N. Shore Drive, Forest Lake, MN. Family will greet friends from 5:00 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
