BS It is with great sadness that I read this in the newspaper tonight. My mom, Mildred Audrey Goff Mason, and Mary were cousins (by my Mother’s adoption) but grew up together as close as sisters. They remained close as adults, they would spend time together sometimes doing silly shenanigans and even working together at one point.

They had funny nicknames for each other that they would use when calling each other on the phone. They look so much alike that often folks thought they were actually sisters. At my Mom’s funeral, in 1993, some acquaintances even said to Mary ” you must be Mildred’s sister”.

Though I was not able to visit with her in recent years my life long memories of my “Aunt’ Mary and “Uncle” Guy will remain in my heart forever. Love, Barbara Mason Scheib Barbara Scheib – May 06 at 10:40 PM Comment Share this: Facebook Twitter DH My Uncle Guy and Aunt Mary were such a big part of my early years. Our big family gatherings were always filled with lots of love and lots of fun and lots of all the cousins being their silly selves.

Precious Memories—How They Linger! All of my love and many, many prayers going up for Debbie, Gary and all the rest of her family. She will always have a special place in all of our hearts.
