HUBBARD Funeral services will be held on Wednesday January 2, 2019 at the First Baptist Church at 12 Noon with Pastor Luke Oskin officiating for Mary Louise Maizel, 84, who died Friday evening December 28, 2018 at Liberty Health Care Center. She was born August 25, 1934 in Youngstown, a daughter of Michael and Thelma Forney Zoblisien and had moved to Hubbard in 2004 from Struthers. Mrs. Maizel, a homemaker, was a member of First Baptist Church.

She raised several foster children, loved to cook, crochet and bowled in several leagues. Her husband, Frank A. Maizel, whom she married November 13, 1954, died May 20, 1999. She leaves a son, Michael Maizel of Struthers; a daughter, Donna Dean and her husband Richard of Hubbard; a brother, Bud Zoblisien of Boardman and his wife, Joanne; a sister, Sally McAllen of Hubbard; three grandchildren, Autumn, Melissa and Andrew and six great grandchildren, Sofia, Sam, Lucy, Julian, Gianna and Jacob.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, Tom and Bob Zoblisien and a sister Carl Murdock. There are no calling hours. Interment will be at Tod Homestead Cemetery.
