Mrs. Mary Lyda Guy Emmons October 15, 1931 – December 22, 2018 Share this obituary Local Florists Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences Mrs. Mary Lyda Guy Emmons age 87 of Pineview Cemetery Road in the Pineview community, passed away Saturday evening December 22, 2018 at her residence after an extended illness. Mrs. Emmons was a native of Frisco City, Alabama and a long time resident of Escambia County, Alabama. She was a homemaker, enjoyed cooking, going to church, fishing, Alabama Football and most of all loved and cherished all of her family.

Mrs. Emmons was of the Holiness faith. Survivors; Son, Melvin Ray Emmons of Pineview; Daughters; Deborah Jean Carden of Pineview, Patricia Diane (Danny) Hendricks of Pineview; Shirley Ann Traweek of Pineview; Brother; Wilbur A. Guy of Brewton; Sister; Madie Lee Chavers of Mobile; 3 Grandchildren; Dana Emmons, Candice Carnley, Jesse Robert “Buddy” (Beth) Traweek all of Pineview; 4 Great Grandchildren; Tyler Jackson, Jerry Carnley III, Cooper Carnley and Madelyn Traweek all of Pineview. She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Carney “Buddy” Emmons Jr. (1990) and son in law, Butch Traweek Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Lyda Guy Emmons are scheduled for Thursday December 27, 2018 at 11AM from the chapel of Craver’s Funeral Home Inc; with Bro: Tim Chavers, Bro: Tony Richburg and Bro: James Peacock officiating.

Interment to follow in the Pineview Cemetery in the Pineview Community with CRAVER’S FUNERAL HOME INC OF BREWTON DIRECTING. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening December 26, 2018 from 6 until 8PM at Craver’s Funeral Home Inc; Pallbearers; Jesse Traweek, Tyler Jackson, Jerry Carnley, Sammy Emmons, Steve Chavers, Wesley Emmons. Honorary Pallbearers; Danny Hendricks, Bobby Franklin, Charles Wilson, Donnie Wilson, Scott Emmons, Tracey Emmons.
