SHULTS, Mary A. “Mitzi”, of Tampa, passed away October 10, 2018. She was born March 8, 1931 in Frostproof, FL to Mary Loraine and Charles Edward Somers and raised in Tampa from age 5. Mitzi attended Gorrie, Wilson, H. B. Plant and FSU.

She loved the Lord, family, friends, music and her cats, Roger and Sheddly. She had a better than average singing voice and great sense of humor. She often said she was born with a joyful spirit.

Mitzi was raised in the Hyde Park Methodist Church and sang in the choir. She was vice president of the North Tampa Junior Women’s Club. Mitzi held a realtor’s and broker’s license for 18 years.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Loraine Somers; father, Charles Somers; husband, Donald Shults; sister, Pat Risley; and step-mother, Margaret Somers. Mitzi leaves behind her precious daughter, Terry Beasley (husband, Jack); son, Bradley Shults; 4 grandchildren, Mary Beth Ballard, Ryan McCoy, Amanda Rodriguez and Raymond Shults. 7 great-grandchildren, Austin, Madison, Gregory, Grant, Paige, Dominic and Grace; nieces and nephews, Ken Risley, Dana Buck, Mike Risley, Carol Driskell and their families; lifelong friends, Beverly Lamor, Ginny McDonald, Pam Knight, Sylvia Witty and Rev.
