A homegoing celebration for Mrs. May Ruby Anderson of Tampa, Florida who passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2018 will be held Friday, October 12th, 11:00 a.m. at Aikens Funeral Home, 2708 E. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. , Rev. Michael Neely, officiating.

The interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery. May Ruby Anderson was born December 22, 1931 in St. Andrew, Jamaica. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, dancing and singing.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Dorothy Taylor and son, Barrington Robinson. She leaves to cherish her precious memories with her children, Cephas Gilbert, Sydney Gilbert, Maureen Worth, Claude Price, Judith Gordon-Bostick and Robert Bostick; grandchildren, Dezrene Gilbert, Castello Gilbert, Sundiata Gilbert, Sidreka Gilbert, Nicola Gilbert, Sydney Gilbert, Jr., Kailyn Bostick, Shamar Bostick, Melissa Worth, Kathryn Worth, Andre Pryce, David Pryce, Jordan Pryce, Abi Pryce, Joshua Robinson, Miguel Robinson and Chrissy White; great-grandchildren, Rosa Morrison, Bella Morrison, Simeon Grimshaw and Ruben Grimshaw; brother, Alick Taylor; sisters, Beryl Hunter and Babs Macuslki; a host of other relatives and friends that will miss her. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home on Thursday, October 11th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Friday for the service.
