OBITUARY Mary Nan Anderson June 9, 1923 – October 29, 2018 Mary Nan Anderson, 95, passed away peacefully in her sleep after a long well lived life on October 29, 2018 in Spring, Texas. Mary Nan was born to Albert Duncan Porter and Genevieve Holden Porter Easley in Caldwell, Texas in 1923. She moved to Spring/Houston, Texas in 1941 where she married Joe Anderson of Center, Texas November 13, 1942.

She was married to Joe until his death in 1991. Mary Nan attended Massey Business school in Houston and subsequently worked for the City of Houston Corporation Courts for 25 years. She was a member of Spring Baptist Church for 48 years, was member of the Order of the Eastern Star for 60 years and was a charter member of Spring Chapter No.

1105 Order of the Eastern Star. Mary Nan was a loving daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother with a large family that loved her very much. Mary Nan was preceded in death by her husband Joe Anderson, son Joey Anderson, grandson Craig Orr, one sister and two brothers.

She is survived by her daughter Genevieve Orr, son-in-law Bobby Orr, daughter-in-law Jeannine Anderson, grandsons Heeth Orr and Joseph Anderson (and wife Mindy), granddaughters Chrysti Orr, Therese Anderson and Tara Patterson (and husband Travis), granddaughters- in-law Stacy Orr and Angela Orr, great grandchildren Patrick Duke, Jordan Anderson, Mackenzie Hardy, Aidan Hardy, Ronni Orr, Gibson Orr, Liam Orr and Luciana Orr, and nephew John Bounds and his wife Elaine.
