Mary R. Kirkbride, 61 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2018 with her loving family by her side at Cedar Hill Care Center in Zanesville. Mary was born in Zanesville on August 17, 1956. She is the daughter of the late William Earl and Minta Lee (Schwab) Kirkbride.

She retired from the United Technologies on Linden Avenue after 30 years of service. She was an avid nature lover, she enjoyed fishing, taking care of her flowers, bird watching and playing bingo. Mary is survived by her husband, Jeff Thompson; her step-son Ryan; her two brothers John (Linda) Kirkbride of Blue Rock, William “Bill” (Tamra) Kirkbride Jr of CA; her nieces and nephews, John Jr. (Jenny) Kirkbride, Julie Marie Kirkbride and Jamie Michelle Kirkbride; her several great-nieces and nephews; a special cousin Susie who was like a sister to her; special cousin Debbie Bradshaw and Patty and her K-9 companion, Buckeye.

Visitations will be from 11 to 1 pm on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls where funeral services will be held at 1 pm with Pastor Debbie Gheen will officiate the service.
