She was born March 14, 1941 in Hartford, CT. to James and Bridget Williams. She married Mark A. Packenham on Sept.

24, 1966. Mary was a faithful member of the Church of St. Mary in Sycamore. Mary was a long-time retired employee of Ideal Industries and was one of the play ground ladies at the West School in Sycamore.

She loved the outdoors, sitting by her pool and enjoying the sunshine- but she mostly enjoyed being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors include her children, David (Heather) Packenham, Timothy Packenham, April (Rick) Drake, Holly (Don) Theis and Dan Packenham; 7 grandchildren, Erin (Matt) Welch, Tyler Theis, Kelly Drake, Brennan Packenham, Trever Theis, Emily and Grace Packenham; 2 great grandchildren, Jackson and Addisyn Welch; her sister, Joan Savio; her brother-in-law, James Packenham; 2 sisters-in-law, Nancy Rogers and Mary (Chuck) Bornhoeft; and numerous nieces and nephews. Her visitation will be on Thursday from 4:00-8:00 PM at the Butala Funeral Home and Crematory in Sycamore.

A Funeral Mass will be on Friday, March 1st at 11:00 AM at the Church of St. Mary, 244 Waterman St., Sycamore, IL. , with Rev. Carl Beekman officiating.

Burial will be at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery. A luncheon will follow at the Parish Activity Center.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the St. Mary Legacy Fund in care of the Butala Funeral Home and Crematory, 1405 DeKalb Ave. , Sycamore, IL. 60178.
