Maryann M. Andreas, 85, of Wausau passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at home surrounded by her family. She was born on August 15, 1932 in Wausau, the daughter of the late Albert and Mary (Lamz) Tarnow. On May 19, 1951 she married Gilbert Andreas in Wausau.

Maryann worked as a cashier for several years at 29 Super Market enjoying the many conversations with customers over the years. A devoted mother to her children and grandchildren always enjoying the many special times spent with them. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Wausau, for over 50 years, and took great pride in her strong faith in Jesus Christ our Savior.

Survivors include her children, George “Andy” Andreas, Wausau; Steven Andreas, Florence, CO; David Andreas, Wausau; Scott (Karen) Andreas ,Wausau; Vicki Andreas, Wausau; Kay (Erick) Walbeck, Wausau; grandchildren, Tabitha and Matthew, Florence, CO; Jonathon (Heather) Andreas, Wausau; Melissa Gutowski, Wausau; great grandchildren, M.J., Shyana, Syndnee, Ashlynn, Jaret, Keeley, Michael, Shania Lynn, Rylee and step grandchildren, Bryan (Erin) Walbeck, Kyle Walbeck and Hayley ( A.J.) Davis. She was further preceded in death by her husband, brother, Elmer Tarnow, sister, Minnie Lach and great grandson, Clayton M. Gutowski. Funeral services be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Wesley United Methodist Church, 1101 Elm St., Wausau with Pastor Sue Lee officiating.

Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park, Town of Texas. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, May 21, 2018 at Helke Funeral Home, 302 Spruce St., Wausau and Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at church.
