Mathew’s Obituary Mr. Mathew Vance McAlum age 32 of Thomaston GA, died Thursday January 24, 2019 at The Medical Center of Central Georgia. Funeral services will be Sunday January 27, 2019 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Coggins Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Upson Memorial Gardens.

Mathew was born September 24, 1986 in Sumter Co., GA to Bobby Vance McAlum and Rachel Nixon McAlum Pergola. He was a dedicated and hardworking construction worker with Michael Anthony Construction and was of the Pentecostal faith. Survivors include his wife, Lynne McAlum of Thomaston, daughters, Emma McAlum, Alyssa Jones and Audrey McAlum, sons, Raiden and Mason McAlum, father Vance (Theresa) McAlum of Jacksonville Fl, mother Ms Rachel McAlum Pergola of Thomaston Ga, brothers, Nicholas Bon Pergola of Americus, Jack Bliss and his wife April of Warner Robins, Justin Walton and his wife Tiffany of Americus, sisters, Tiffni Holley and her husband Ronnie of Americus and Sarah Pergola of Georgia, nieces, Khloe Pergola and Summer Rose Holley, Nephew, Edward Lee Holley, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will receive friends Sunday January 27, 2019 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Coggins Funeral Home. Those desiring, can make memorials in Mathews memory to Coggins Funeral Home, 321 Hannahs Mill Rd. Thomaston, GA 30286.
