Matt J. Brown-Washington (22) of Toppenish passed away Tuesday May 7, 2019 outside of Toppenish as a result of a motor vehicle accident. Matt was born on May 21, 1996 in Toppenish, WA. He was raised and educated in Granger on the Satus and worked as a laborer in construction and as a commercial fisherman.

He enjoyed going to the casino. He is survived by his father Wyatt Washington; six brothers, Lawrence Washington, Eric Washington, Wyatt Washington Jr., Dionte Washington, Marcel Turningrobe, and Sylas Turningrobe; four sisters, Raven Washington, Tianna Washington, Cianna Washington, and Kassidy Turningrobe. Dressing services will be held at the Toppenish Longhouse on Friday May 10, 2019 at 1PM.
