OBITUARY Matthew Joseph Banker Jr. October 7, 1932 – December 8, 2018 Banker, Matthew J. Jr. “Sarge” “M.J.” Matthew passed away on Saturday, December 08, 2018 at his home in Addis at the age of 86. He was a native of West Baton Rouge Parish, living his working years in Tucson, AZ, and currently residing in Addis, La. Matthew was a retired Sgt.

in the United States Air Force, then went on to open Banker’s Roofing and Repair until retiring again. Visitation will be at Wilbert Funeral Home in Port Allen on Monday, December 10, 2018 from 5 to 9pm. A visitation will be later held at Funeraria del Angel South Lawn Funeral Home in Tucson, AZ with burial to follow in South Lawn cemetery.

Matthew is survived by his son, Matthew J. Banker III and wife Tina of Tucson, AZ; three grandchildren, Ashton, Weston and Katlyn Banker; two great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Matthew was preceded in death by his wife, Catherine Lopez Banker; parents, Matthew Sr. and Ada Falcon Banker; four sisters and two brothers. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Veterans Assoc.
