Obituary for Maudie E. Smith Maudie Elizabeth Smith, 93, passed away June 14, 2018. A native of Greenville County, she was a daughter of the late Clarence Lee and Edna Boone Smith, a retired employee of Southern Bleachery and founding member of Covenant United Methodist Church. Ms. Smith was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

She was predeceased by three brothers, Clannie, Ed and Homer Smith and two sisters, Lilla Johnson and Martha Wilson. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Covenant United Methodist Church conducted by Rev. Darren Hook and Rev.

Linda Guthrie. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held 12 noon until 1:00 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service at the church.
