Maureen L. Dale, 92, of Rostraver Township, died Sunday, December 30, 2018. Born in Ferndale, Wales, United Kingdom on November 18, 1926, she was the daughter of the late James Gerald and Catherine (Murray) Laffey. Maureen was a telephone operator and worked for Bell of PA.

She was member of the Church of St. Anne in Rostraver and had been active in the Confraternity of Christian Mothers of the church. She was also a member of Telephone Pioneers of America. She is survived by her son, Richard T. Dale; daughter-in-law, Jodie Dale; and grandchildren, Michael Dale, Christina Dale and Jenna Dale.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Dale; and sons, William R. Dale Jr. and Shawn D. Dale. There will be no public visitation. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, January 5, 2109 at 10:00 a.m. in the Church of St. Anne, 1870 Rostraver Road, Rostraver Township with Rev.

Vincent J. Gigliotti presiding. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the James C. Stump Funeral Home Inc., 580 Circle Drive, Rostraver Township (724-929-7934) www.
