Melinda Marie Beers May 19, 1958 – February 17, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Melinda Marie Beers, age 60, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, went to be with her Lord February 17, 2019. She was born May 19, 1958, in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Robert Brandon and June Sims Meese. She worked as a substitute teacher for the Fayetteville School System, was a Christian and attended Fellowship Bible Church in Fayetteville.

Melinda enjoyed arts and crafts, antiquing, and volunteered at the Salvation Army and at Highlands Oncology. She was a beloved Mother and the “Best Mimi” in the world. She was preceded by her husband, Vincent Alan Beers, in 2017.

She is survived by two daughters: Cassondra Beers of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Emily Upton and husband, Tyler, of Rogers, Arkansas; two sisters; and granddaughter, Charlotte Upton. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home, 3926 Willowood Avenue, Springdale, Arkansas 72762. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
