Melissa J. Clark, age 49 of Ponsford, MN, passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2018 at Essentia Health in Fargo, surrounded by her family. Melissa “Missy” was born on March 4, 1969 in Park Rapids, MN to Myron Norcross and Sara Clark. Missy grew up and lived in the Pine Point area.

She graduated from Circle of Life in 1987 and obtained her Paraprofessional Certification and was employed with the Pine Point School for 16 years, until her health started to decline. She then put all her attention towards being a Mother, Grandmother, Partner, Daughter, Sister, Aunt, Cousin, and Friend. Missy loved her family beyond any words can explain.

She always had her door open and would do anything for anyone. She enjoyed being around family, especially watching her children and grandchildren grow and taking occasional trips to the casino. She loved baking, had the best banana bread and yeast bread around, even better than grandma’s.

Missy is survived by her Mother (Sara); Partner (Jon); Sons (Matthew, Ryan “Mister”, Timmy); Daughters (Kimberly (Willis), Shaelyn (Warren), Alayna); Grandchildren (Aleigha, Makaela, Matteyah, Aubrey, Zayden, and Shyleah, Miikawaadiz-ikwe); Brothers (Junior (Barb), Doug); Sisters (JoAnn, Edith, Betty (Pete), Tubby (George), Diane, Mary Lou); special cousin (Becky (Steve)); many nieces and nephews. Missy is preceded in death by her Granddaughter (Amiyah); Father (Myron); Brothers (Johnny and Chuckie); Special Nephew (Tim); Aunts (Bernice, Cathy, Sylvia); Uncle (Joseph); Cousin (Vinny). Visitation will be held on Sunday September 16, 2018 at 5:00 pm.

Funeral services will be Monday, September 17, 2018 at 2:00 pm. Visitation and Funeral will be held at the Pine Point New School.
