SAUK CITY-Melody Ann McFarlane, age 63, of Sauk City, passed away on Monday, Dec. 31, 2018. She was born on Oct.

13, 1955, in Adams, the daughter of Harry and Wanda (Thorne) Hazel. Melody graduated from Adams Friendship High School. She married Robert H. McFarlane Jr. on Mar.

20, 2008, in Baraboo. Melody was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and dedicated her life to being a homemaker. She loved wildlife and could be found hiking the trails up and down the river.

She is survived by her husband, Robert; stepson, Andrew McFarlane; sons Nicholas Hiller and Matthew Hiller; daughter-in-law, Samantha Hiller; grandchildren Bryce Hiller and Halle Hiller; former husband, Claude Hiller; sisters, Jacqueline Hazel, Tammi Hazel, Gail (Joe) Torkelson and Christine Lange; and extended family and friends. Melody was preceded in death by her parents.
