Melton Robert Frahmann , January 16, 1928 — February 02, 2019

Melton Robert Frahmann, age 91, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2019. Mel was originally from Medford, Wisconsin. He attended Milwaukee School of Engineering and later graduated from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa.

He served in the 1600th Army Air Force Medical Service Squadron from 1946 – 1949 with the rank of Sargent. He was stationed in Newfoundland, Greenland, and in the United States. Melton and his wife, Carol, lived in Sandwich, Massachusetts on Cape Cod, where he worked for the Samuel F. McCormack Co., Inc. for 14 years, as an insurance adjuster.

While on Cape Cod Mel enjoyed one of his greatest passions of owning and operating a cranberry bog. He and Carol relocated to Clearwater, Florida in 1999. After moving to Florida he became involved in a family business.

Mel was also a longtime President and board member of the Islander Condo Association. He is survived by his wife, Carol, of 34 years, stepson, Garrett, son In law, Luciano, grandchildren, Nicole & Cameron, and their mother Liza; son, Judson Frahmann, granddaughter, Arlee, many nieces and nephews, and extended family. He is predeceased by his three brothers, George, Everett, Galen, sister, Arlene; and stepson Erik, father to Nicole & Cameron.

Services will be held in New England at a later date.
