OBITUARY Melvin “Doug” McIndoe July 17, 1936 – October 7, 2018 Mr. Melvin “Doug” McIndoe, age 82, of Winder, passed away on Sunday, October 7, 2018. Mr. McIndoe was born in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. He is the son of the late Clarence W. McIndoe and Dorothy Morrow McIndoe.

Mr. McIndoe retired as the operator of a Chevron service station. Mr. McIndoe is survived by his wife, Ronda Schleyning McIndoe of Winder; sons, Brian D. McIndoe of Tampa, and Richard A. (Mary) McIndoe of Augusta; brother, Darrell McIndoe of Maryland; grandchildren, Brianna (Patrick) Perez, Robert (Katie) McIndoe, Christina McIndoe, and Alexander McIndoe and great-grandchild, Allison Perez. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home with Pastor Patti Axel officiating.

The family will be receiving friends on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Smith Funeral Home, Winder, is entrusted with the arrangements.
