Neff, 67, of Frazeysburg, Ohio died Friday morning, February 1, 2019 at Genesis Morrison House in Zanesville, Ohio. Born July 18, 1951 in Cambridge, Ohio he was the son of the late Melvin A. and Wanda M. (Miller) Neff and was a 1969 graduate of Cambridge High School. He proudly served our county in the United States Army from 1971 to 1973.

Mr. Neff retired as a foreman in the plastics molding industry and worked for several different companies over the years. He was a member of Quaker City Lodge 500, F. & A. M. and was a member of the Scottish Rite Valley of Cambridge. He was a very avid outdoorsman and enjoyed shooting, hunting, fishing and many other outdoor activities.

Surviving is his significant other, Jan Barker of Frazeysburg; a son, Jordan (Bailey) Neff of Nashport, Ohio; a daughter, Heather (Todd Carpenter) Neff of Salesville, Ohio; a step-daughter, Jessica (Anthony Barrett) Steele of Newark, Ohio; two grandchildren, Taylor Dybendal and Trevor Dybendal and a step grandson, Benson Barrett. Also surviving are four sisters, Loretta Neff of Cambridge, Constance “Connie” (Chuck) Gaiser of Newark, Holly Neff of Brandon, Florida and Lynn (Andre) Reyes of Jacksonville, North Carolina; several aunts and uncles and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be 1pm to 3pm and 4pm to 7pm Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at the Frazeysburg Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 110 West Third Street.

Quaker City Lodge 500 will conduct Masonic funeral services following calling hours at 7:00pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Robinson Cemetery near Frazeysburg at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Quaker City Lodge 500, 24821 Lashley Road, Noble, Ohio 43773.
