OBITUARY Melvin James Parks January 18, 1917 – October 26, 2018 Melvin James Parks, age 101, of Omaha, went to be with the Lord Friday October 26, 2018. Melvin was born January 18, 1917 in Humphrey, NE to LeRoy and Ida Parks. Melvin is survived by one son, James Parks and wife Diane; grandchildren, Michael Parks and wife Erica, Michelle Hilgenfeld and husband Brian, Melinda Krause and husband Robert; 9 great-grandchildren, Camden, Alexa and her husband Joey, Adrianna, Bradyn, Gabrielle, Nolan, Jack, Ella, Ethan; 1 sister, and two brothers, along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be 4:00 pm Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Crosby Burket Swanson Golden Funeral Home. 11902 W. Center Rd. Omaha, NE 68144.
