Mercedes’ Obituary Mercedes P. Morris (nee LaCivita) Age 91 Late of Midlothian. Beloved wife of the late Richard T. Morris. Loving mother of Melodi (James) Kureweil, Michele (late Buddy) Sokolick and Milissa (Ed) Bell.

Proud grandmother of Kevin (Tamara) Kurzweil, Keith (Kay) Kurzweil & Kim (Dan) Heinlein, great-grandmother of 13 and great-great-grandmother of 2. Dear sister of the late Robert LaCivita and the late Dorothy (late Frank) Mrozek. Mercedes is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was a retired secretary for Bremen H.S. Dist. #228. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Humane Society.

Funeral Saturday 11:00 AM from the Hickey Memorial Chapel 4201 W. 147th St. Midlothian to St. Christopher Church for Mass at 11:30 AM. Private entombment at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Visitation Friday 4 – 8 PM.
