Obituary for Mr. Michael Brian Hodges Hodges – Michael “Brian” Hodges, age 34 of Sanderson, Florida passed away Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas with his wife and family by his side. He was born January 19, 1984 to Billy Rae Hodges and Rebecca Edge Hodges. Brian was a life-long resident of Baker County and graduated from Baker County High School in 2003.

He was the owner and operator of Brian Hodges Hauling. Brian was passionate and worked hard at his business. In his spare time, he enjoyed dirt track racing at North Florida Speed Way in Lake City.

Brian had a huge heart and many friends who will miss him greatly. But most of all Brian loved his wife, child and family with all his heart. He is predeceased by his sister, Sheryl Ann Hodges.

Brian is survived by his wife Rebecca Anne Hodges of Sanderson, FL; son, Waylon Michael Hodges of Sanderson, FL; parents, Billy and Rebecca Hodges of Macclenny, FL; brother, Billy Hodges, Jr. (Tricia Brogdon) of Sanderson, FL; sisters, Tina Hodges, Patty Crutchfield and Billie Jo McNorrill all of GA; numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. A Celebration of Brian’s life will be held Monday, July 9, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Road to Calvary Church with Pastor Tommy Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday, July 8, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the church. The arrangements are under the care of V. Todd Ferreira Services, 250 N Lowder St., Macclenny, FL 32063. 904-259-5700.
