Vidalia GA, Michael “Mike” David Tyson, age 60, passed away at his home on Thursday July 26, 2018. Mike was a well known automotive mechanic. He worked for over 20 years in the trade he loved.

Most recently, he was employed at Horton Auto Parts and Service in Vidalia. In his free time, he loved to play his guitar. Mike was a talented picker who loved blue grass and country music.

He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Left to mourn his passing is his wife, Cathy Ann Tyson; daughters, Marie Walker and Loretta Poole; step children, Jeffrey Hayes, Tessa Hayes, and Brent Hayes; grandchildren, Brittany Walker, Michael Hayes, and Lester Poole; numerous friends and other relatives also survive. Mike’s wishes were for his friends and family to remember him as he was in life.

With those wishes in mind, there will be no formal gathering. Low Country Cremation & Burial is serving the Tyson family.
