Michael Dobda Age 97, of Kennedy Twp. , passed on Friday, December 7, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Lovey (Onyshkow) Dobda; loving father of Deborah Dobda and Susan Kovacic (John); brother of the late John and Steve Dobda; also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Dobda was a B-26 Pilot, serving with the 9th Air Force during WWII. His plane was shot down on February 13, 1945, he was captured and was a P.O.W. until the end of WWII. He worked for 43 years at the Pittsburgh Forgings Company in Coraopolis.

He loved softball, bowling and enjoyed traveling. Family will receive friends 2-4 & 6-8 PM THURSDAY at the McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC. , 334 Forest Grove Rd.

, Kennedy Twp. , where prayers are offered 10 AM FRIDAY, followed by burial with Military Honors at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
