OBITUARY Michael Earl Fassnacht, Sr. October 4, 1948 – October 26, 2018 MICHAEL “MIKE” EARL FASSNACHT SR October 4th, 1948 – October 26th, 2018 Longstanding Colorado Springs, CO resident, Michael Fasnacht Sr, passed last week near Las Cruces, NM at the age of 70. Born in Pueblo, CO to Roy and Mildred Fassnacht, Mike served in the United States Army as a communications specialist and later parlayed his military experience into a 42-year career with Mountain Bell. Mike enjoyed many summer vacations with his wife and sons, camping, hiking and fishing in the beauty of the Rocky Mountains and states surrounding Colorado.

Mike is survived by his wife Kathleen Fassnacht, sons Michael and Marc Fassnacht and sister Sharon (Albert) Gerth. Mike had 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Viewing and Funeral arrangements will be held at Memorial Gardens in Colorado Springs, CO.

Viewing hours will be Thursday, November 8, 5-8pm. Funeral services will be Friday, November 9, 11am. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to charities of donors’ choice.
