Michael Edward McArthur was born on November 11, 1968 in Pocatello, Idaho, son of Eddie W. McArthur and Gerline (Gerri) Ann McArthur. He passed away suddenly of natural causes at his home on July 1, 2018. Michael attended Highland High School and then furthered his education at Idaho State University.

Michael married Lolita Reyes in June of 1990 in Pocatello. They later divorced. Michael was employed at McArthur Enterprise for many years.

He was adventurous and loved camping and tried different sports such water skiing, snow skiing, golfing and cycling. As a child he participated in soccer and football. Michael enjoyed friendships all over the country even though he was born and lived his whole life in Pocatello.

Michael was preceded in death by his father, Eddie. He is survived by his mother, Gerri of Pocatello; sister, Judy (Bill) Kitchen of Richland, Washington; brother, David (Donna) McArthur of Blackfoot, Idaho; sister, Charlene (Roberto) Albarran of Park City, Utah; brother, Bud (Veronica) McArthur of Denver, Colorado and a number of nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, July 6th at 2 pm at Holy Spirit Catholic Community, St. Anthony’s Chapel, 504 North 7th Ave, Pocatello.
